Finding Peace in the Chaos

Donna stands in dismay as she looks over the endless piles of laundry awaiting her. Her three young children are busy with their sports activities, schooling and socializing, while she stands there lamenting the mounting pile of work to do. Tears stand in her eyes as she realizes this is only one of the many daunting tasks, including cleaning house, paying bills, and mowing the lawn, that she faces on her dwindling weekend. How is she supposed to do all of this? And to what level of sanity will she come out on the other end in. Suddenly overwhelmed and fed up,the Injection mold fast! she resorts to digging through the freezer for the gallon of mint chocolate chip ice cream tucked near the back. It can wait, I can put it off, there's still Sunday! She thinks to herself. The relief the idea brings, lasts only a moment until she sees the piles again.

I too have a young child, a job, a business, bills to pay, husband, home, a.k.a. "Super Mom". And on top of it all, I feel the need to reach out--with the hopes of teaching women how to overcome the daily obstacles and stresses of life. As the leader of a small women's "Life" support group, I see and can relate to the frustration and exhaustion of the constant pressure women live in. I don't take them away from them I just hope to help them deal with them better.
