The new costume features a plush body with a two-toned shag fur head and a cooling ventilation system for the costume's wearer.

The Legislative Body decided to give $1,250 of USG's budget, to be taken from the clubs and other activities fund, toward the purchase of this new mascot costume, which costs $3,197, not including delivery charges. "We feel that it is an important aspect of our university to contribute towards," USG Press Secretary Rachel Norris said in an email interview Monday evening.
